Lesson 3 of 3

Jurisdiction Awareness

Know which laws apply to protect yourself.

Section 1

Geography Matters

The laws that apply depend on where you are, where servers sit, where clients connect. PINNY is infrastructure. You operate within your jurisdiction. Platform terms don't override local law.

Quick Wins

  • •Map where you operate, where servers are, where clients are
  • •Bookmark FOSTA/SESTA and equivalent resources
